Hello, welcome to the official Rainy Day Parade Recordings website. RDPR is my indie recording company that is home to all of my creative endeavors. The projects are, Sleepy Smith, lonelier, short form videos, and a vlog (pending).
lonelier, is my instrumental hip hop project. I've been making beats since 2002, it is what got me into music. Some of my influences are J Dilla, Madlib, 9th Wonder, Just Blaze, Knxwledge.
Sleepy Smith is my guitar, sometimes voice, oriented project. I play jazz, folk, rock, some shoegaze, and ambient music. Some of my influences are, Grizzly Bear, Radiohead, Chet Atkins, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Sigur Ros, (early) Coldplay, Daniel Rossen, John Fahey, Jonathan Kreisberg, Ted Greene, Jon Brion.
